THESE ARE PHOTOS FROM OUR PLACE IN SULPHUR, LA. WE WENT BACK IN ON SATURDAY NIGHT AFTER THE HURRICANE HIT TO ASSESS THE DAMAGES. WE SPENT THE NIGHT IN OUR HOUSE WITH NO POWER. BOY, WAS IT DARK AND SCARY. WE TOOK PHOTOS SUNDAY MORNING GRABBED SOME MORE CLOTHES AND THINGS, WENT TO THE POLICE STATION TO SAY WE ARE HEADED OUT, TAKE CARE OF THE PLACE. WE ARE back at home with power. Again, we are lucky because not everyone has power. some places looks like they will be hooked up to power in 2 more weeks. ENJOY THESE PHOTOS. One thing i noticed looking at the photos is the Ivy that was so hard to remove from our building is gone. The Ivy has embedded its roots into the brick and Rita removed it all.
